Aadinath, often referred to as the Shopkeep, is a demon that runs a hole-in-the-wall black market that sells mystic and unscrupulous items. As the End of Days draws near, he has become a recluse of sorts, and refuses to associate himself more than need be with the rest of the Fallen. Aadinath appears to be slightly taller than Natalie, putting him at 5'5" or 5'6". He has ruffled, tawny hair that fades into an undercut in the back. He has sharp, amber eyes with low lids and thin, pointed eyebrows.…

It was a combination of a high school and elementary school to accommodate areas of post World War One growth such as iron and petroleum industry as well as the pacific railway expansion. As Cher Horowitz would say, “You see how picky I am about my shoes, and those only go on my feet.” If Clueless took place in 2017 NYC, then this outfit would have been Cher’s iconic, yellow, plaid skirt-suit ensemble. This look has transcended along the ages. Plaid never goes out of style, and neither does our lookbook! Christine of Louis Reign has shared with us that, “My style is edgy with a twist.…

The Kind of Practitioner I Want to Become To self-reflect on the kind of Occupational Therapy practitioner I aspire to become, I will begin the first stage of Gibbs’s reflective cycle, which is ‘description; in other words, how my own life experience will shape the kind of practitioner I one day aspire to become. After reflecting on the standard of care that I personally have received in the past and remembering back to what it actually felt like to be a patient. I will apply the remaining stages of Gibbs’ reflective cycle, where I will use my own feelings to evaluate, analyse and finally conclude what kind of practitioner I wish to become. Research has identified that kindness, concern, sensitivity, compassion and empathy are considered…

Dare, A Regretful Education Have you ever wondered how the D.A.R.E. program worked in the United States? Well I can tell you this, if an officer that is involved with the D.A.R.E. program is trying to show you the impact of a substance, then why do you see them doing that same substance while off duty? They are either smoking a cigarette or guzzling booze until they are downright wasted, if this is the kind of inspiration that helps you stay away from substances, well it’d work better than what you’re learning from D.A.R.E. A multitude of people believe the D.A.R.E. program should be replaced with a different program that provides a new/better way to fight substance abuse, others believe D.A.R.E. should be able to help in the education…
One of the many things I got asked when getting ready to go to college is “why a Liberal Arts University?” for a long time I didn't even know the difference, well now I do. A Liberal Arts University is a college that offers a broad range of subjects including math, science, history, philosophy, languages, and literature. Many non-liberal arts universities only offer your basics then your straight into your major specific classes. One thing I believe is the best thing about getting a liberal arts education is you have to take a little bit of every subject.…

However, when the environment is not favorable to the vulnerable or when an individual is closed to connection the result is shame. Brené Brown defines shame as the fear of disconnection (Brown, 2012). Shame is a primitive human emotion, one that can destroy dreams, promote hatred, and endorse disengagement and disconnection. An ethical nurse and a vulnerable...living vulnerably allows you to examine the impact that you have on other people and how your decisions impact others.…

I am going to visit performing art schools in Florida and explore some online.…
Some rise to the challenge adversity places on them, becoming more sure of themselves than ever before. Others fall victim, losing parts of themselves that they used to consider an integral part of their identity. Many face adversity as a mixture of both losing parts of themselves and creating even stronger values. Adversity is the foundation…
Based on the video, how do we make ourselves vulnerable or not so vulnerable with decision-making? We make ourselves vulnerable by embracing fear, shame, and not engage in our daily lives, in the video “The Power of Vulnerability,” Dr. Brené Brown, discusses vulnerability, and she states, that vulnerability is “uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure” (Brown, n.d.). Dr. Brown also implies that “vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy and creativity” (Brown, n.d.). She is encouraging us to live wholeheartedly also, to embrace vulnerability and imperfections in order to have control over our decisions in life.…
The theses of the TED talk “The power of vulnerability”, by Brené Brown , is that we all struggle with vulnerability in our lives; we fail to truly express ourselves and allow ourselves to be deeply seen, for the fear of not being accepted. But it is when we can truly accept who we are, and recognize our worth, that we can finally embrace vulnerability. Brown uses a humorous and an intimate tone in her Ted talk, to point out her struggle with vulnerability. These two tones are visible when Brown gets personal about her struggle with vulnerability, leading her to go see a therapist as she had a “breakdown”, but as intimate as she gets about her life, she still has a very humorous tone, keeping the audience entertained at the same time.…
