On his night stand was a picture of his mom and he kissed the picture and headed to the door. After the walk in of the graduates, Jason goes up to make his valedictorian address. Following that the guest speaker did his speech and they had announced graduating class everyone in the class threw their caps in the air. Jason’s dad takes pictures of him and all of his friends. On the outside where 3 vehicles with a big, and elaborate bow on top of them. Jason had a big smile on his face, and asked his dad, which one is mine and his dad said neither one. Jason began to frown, but then stayed positive that his car would be waiting on him at home. Rev. James and his son Jason returned home and Jason said dad where’s my car? His dad replied in due time you will get one. Jason’s body filled with fury towards his dad. He was very disappointed that his dad didn’t get him the one thing that he asked for. James tried to talk to his son, but his son was so mad about the car that he would even speak to him. Rev. James now at the altar giving his sermon, he falls and passes out. Rev. James is rushed to the hospital, but before making it to the hospital, he takes his last breath. His sons leaves the church with one father friends and receives that car that his dad has passed away. He tells his father’s friend to just take him home. He has arrived at home feeling empty now without his father or mother. He weeps all that day. On the next day, he friends come by to check on him. Jason’s is feeling regretful because he was mad at his dad about a car. Jason then goes upstairs to his room and gets the bible his father bought him for graduation. He threw the bible in a corner, since he knew mostly ever scripture in it. After getting the bible and he remembered a scripture that his dad and mom used to tell him since they loved it so much. As he turned to that scripture a pair of car keys and paper fell out. After reading the paper he sees his name and paid in full on the documents. Jason has a very bittersweet feeling. The phone rings and the car salesmen from the autoplex says Rev. James we are bringing your son car to you today, and Jason replies as his father.
