“So, how about we go down to the water,” he began, starting down the hill. We grouped in the truck and headed home after our exhausting meet with the docks.
“Dad that's the wrong turn, our house, it’s to the left,” Gabriella proclaimed, perplexed as we came to a sharp stop. “Not at all, I’m going the right way,” he began laughing while we reluctantly opened the door and stepped out on the disheveled street.
“I know you all had a better time than you would have had sitting home board,” he was still smiling as he pulling into their driveway. “What no thanks?”
The door welcomed us home, as we stepped inside. “Hi guys, did you have fun at the docks?” my mom questioned.
“Yes, we even went to the cemetery too, just for kicks,” uncle Peter declaimed, his teeth showing. As we all settled in, we laid down in the backyard and just talked sipping warm hot chocolate by the fire.
