Group Factors that Enhance the Success of the Group
To enhance the success of the group and the effectiveness of group performance in the inter-professional team, here are some group factors should be considered.
1. Group Cohesion
Group cohesion which is defined as the extent to which the group members are attracted to each other and the willingness to remain in the same group. “The more the members feel attracted to the group, the greater will be the group cohesiveness." [6] Members' performance in the highly cohesive team can be improved and members strive for excellence at teamwork. [5]
2. Communication
Second group factor to consider is communication. An effective team cannot ignore the power of efficient communication because understanding team goals and sharing opinions need good communication. Communication can also enhance team cohesion. [5]
