    Hello, my lovely people! Two and half years ago, I got a fever that wasn't going away. A few months had passed and the fever had still not passed, now with more symptoms. It was Christmas when my first lymph nodes started showing in my neck. Those nodes are still enlarged today. I kept getting worse and worse. Started to lose my appetite, and losing weight. I have now lost 30 pounds. I used to be a pretty active person, I played soccer for 16 years so it was strange to go from being strong to watching my body wither away. For about two and a half years, my family, friends, and I struggled very much with receiving a diagnosis. Soon enough it wasn't just symptoms that started to slow me down. After 2 quarters at Seattle Central when I first got sick, I knew I couldn't physically handle it anymore, I woke up and came home feeling worse and worse. Then by not being able to socialize, and friends naturally leaving, or whatever the circumstance, started to make me feel as though I was alone. This is a very common feeling for those with chronic diseases. One of the biggest obstacles I faced, and my mom, (I could not have gotten through this crazy process without her, truly my savior) was for about 2 years, all that was showing was lymph nodes on scans, and watching my white blood cell count go up and down for that whole period.
