When examining the Cleveland Cavaliers’ preseason performance thus far, an often heard question comes to mind. How much should preseason play be factored into projecting the upcoming NBA regular season? The Cavs met the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies in their first three preseason games and lost each contest, albeit by an average of less than five points per game. Tuesday night, the Cavaliers (more like a deficient version of the team) met the Milwaukee Bucks at Quicken Loans Arena. The result was a 110-101 Bucks victory, pushing the Cavs’ preseason record to 0-4. “It’s definitely good to get back in front of the home fans,” Cavs guard Mo Williams said. “The most important thing was getting out there and getting in rhythm, getting geared up for October 27th — That’s the most important date.” The Cavs open their regular season on Oct. 27 in Chicago against the Bulls. Tuesday night against Milwaukee, none of the players projected to be Cleveland’s regular season starters played in the game. Kyrie Irving, J.R. Smith, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Timofey Mozgov all sat out Tuesday’s contest due to injury or rest. Cavs shooting guard Iman Shumpert, who would have likely been the regular season starter over Smith, also missed the game as he continues to recover from right wrist surgery. Cleveland, short most of their key players, attempted to find scoring in other areas. Williams led Cleveland with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Richard…

In recent years Music99 has been a reliable retailer for Stanton products and your loyalty is always important to us. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that the sales of our newest product, the FinalScratch system has been failing in the mid-Atlantic region stores. “Track Tryouts are today. The Wolves had not gotten a gold medal in 12 years I could win the gold," Ryan explains to Sarah. "You do know that Eli is running for the Red Hawks right," Sarah tells Ryan with disappointment. Eli is the fastest kid in their league, he runs a hundred meters in 10.2 seconds. "I know, but he might be in a different heat this year," Ryan says hopefully. "Either way we have to go to tryouts now," Ryan continues. The track is fairly new with the same red turf as all the…

there is a general sense around the league that the Toronto Raptors have accomplished nothing. 21 seasons of (mostly) underachievement doesn’t help. 1 playoff series win and 7 playoff series losses don’t help. Zero best-of-seven playoff series wins definitely won’t help. Consecutive playoff series losses as the higher seed……well, you get the picture! Are you still reading? Because that’s all the negativity you’re going to get. Toronto has been at or near the top of the conference standings…
