M&M’s and Skittles There are two large bowls in front of me. One, filled to the top with M&M’s and the other, with Skittles. Which one do I chose? The hard shells of both candies shine like a new penny. You might be able to see your own reflection through their glossy shells. Their colors relate to the rainbow. The hues beautifully blend together in the same bowl. While M&M’s share many similarities with skittles, such as their shape, color, and many varieties, there are also a lot of differences. M&M’s are enjoyed all over the world by children, adults, and elders. They are the kind of candy that people will adore every bite, crunch, and chew. They were invented right here in the U.S.A. in 1941. You can identify M&M’s by finding the tiny lower case “m” printed on the shell. If there is an “m” you’ll know that this candy, ‘Melts in your mouth, not in your hand’. They chose this tagline because, the hard shell surrounding the inside is supposed to prevent the M&M from melting. Hence, they are supposed to dissolve in your mouth not in your hand. M&M’s candy flavor is chocolate but over the years they have created new types of M&M’s for their customers to enjoy. According to the “History of M&M’s Chocolate”, in 1991, Peanut Butter M&M’s were released then, in 1996, “M&M’s Minis” were sold and in 2010, Pretzel M&M’s were introduced(Bellis). M&M’s company is always introducing new products of M&M’s to keep their customers interested. They take their original product, plain M&M,…
