    Michael Oher, a super bowl champion, super bowl runner up, and first round draft pick. Unlike many other professional athletes, Oher wasn’t always successful. He was born into a family with 16 children, who provided little to no support. Oher was a foster child, but would often run away from those homes in search for his mother, giving him the states nickname “runner”. As a homeless teenager in high school, Oher would go to random places just to keep warm. Michael Oher was born on May 28th, 1986 he is now 29 years old. Michael was drafted in the first round in the 2009 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens, where he won a super bowl. He was then released by the Ravens, and then signed by the Tennessee Titans where he played 1 season. This passed off-season he was picked up by the Carolina panthers to finish with a record of 15-1 in the regular season, then going to the super bowl to loose against the Denver Broncos.
