There are certain cravings people experience in the world and many of them either help or hurt people. One of the most common yearnings people have is power. This five-letter word has been used in many ways, each with a great impact on history. They have left humans wondering: what is a healthy amount of power to award humans with? How much power should they have in the first place? There is a common misconception that the more power you have, the more of a positive impact you are making. That thought is often proved wrong with many wrongdoings of those who are in power. There are many examples of those wrong doings in the world for example people are dying daily due to the ignorance of others, whereas others who have the ability to stop the suffering in the first place ignore their cries for help. Adolescents also have a lot more power than they think; the idea to change to world pounded into their brains from a young age, but many don’t take the advice to use that power in such a positive way. The juvenile definition of power is often blurred between the lines independence and domination, so they are often unaware of how to use power to make a change in the first place.
