Performance Evaluation In order to assess the model accuracy, it is necessary to use some quantitative measures of learning. In this study the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and regression analysis were used to evaluate the model performance. MSE is a useful measure of success for numeric prediction and is calculated using Eq. (1). It is worth mentioning that small values of MSE indicate better performance of the ANN model. It was found that the optimum performance of the model is at 25 neurons with MSE 0.1481. The accuracy of the model with different neurons is shown in Table 5. MSE=(∑_(j=0)^P▒∑_(i=0)^N▒〖(t_ij-y_ij)〗^2 )/NP (5) Where P is the number of output possessing elements, N is the number of observations, tij are the target outputs and yij are the actu9al outputs. TABLE 6 accuracy for the network Neurons in the Hidden Layers MSE Values 12 0.3263 20 0.1652 25 0.2672 28 0.2870 32 0.6301 Fig. 11 shows the regression analysis of targets and outputs for Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm during training and testing process. The best fit lines in Fig. 10 demonstrate the relationship between the desired value and actual value. As shown in Fig. 10 the R value of ANN model is 0.8134 which indicates that LM algorithm has high ability to train data for the model. Overall, the network has accuracy of 81%. specific disease or disorder.” (Salter, 1999, p. 366) The deformity is diagnosed in 2%-3% of the population, usually between early childhood until full bone maturity. (AANS, 2016) Scoliosis occurs equally in the number of males and females between the ages on 10-15, but females are shown to be eight times as likely to have the size of their curvature develop to the point that treatment is needed. (AANS, 2016) Scoliosis can be classified as either nonstructural or structural scoliosis.…
A girl comes out standing on the table and then jumps off and gets low to the ground, does a small roll thing and then stands up bent over with her arms straight up. In that whole scene she went from high topography, low, to medium and also shows curves with her body and straight lines with her arms. Her element is fire the entire time she is on stage. At the end of her scene she shows two more extreme “systems” by falling to the ground again and getting back up to continue her last lines and…
Lists 3 visual elements of art and design (the "building blocks") you think Munch employed when he created The Scream. These visual elements must be chosen from those featured in Chapter 3 and the PowerPoint presentation. 1. After you list the 3 visual elements, you must then write a 300-word long thread that describes the characteristics of each element AND explains why they were chosen by Munch to createThe Scream. 2. Pay particular attention to the most obvious visual elements of The Scream.…
better. This method is similar to what students will find when they start jobs after graduation. Companies do not reward employees for just doing their best; they reward them for being better than all of one’s coworkers. It also means that the weakest link is the one that gets cut, just like the weakest link in the classroom gets the lowest grade. Effects of Curving Although the curving system is meant to encourage students to perform better by inspiring competition in the classrooms, there are…
First, the Elvis board was connected to a power source and to the computer. A team member then connected the IR optosensor to the Easy Pulse circuit board. Afterwards the Easy Pulse circuit board was wired to the NI Elvis II board using jumper wires, ensuring that the VCC, A0 and GND pins connected to the +5V, AI0+, and AIGND sections respectively. The AI0 was then connected directly to the AIGND on the Elvis board. Once that was done, another team member ran the program Pulse Moniter.vi and…
Doris’s speed. This was not true. Sure, Frank’s speed was now faster than Doris, but it did not tell me anything about the previous distances they had traveled, so I could not assume that Frank passed Doris at ten seconds. Then I realized it might be beneficial to have their values on their own separate graphs. Once they were separated I knew I needed to find the distance traveled for each racer. Since the speed was not constant throughout the race I was not able to find the area in one…
She diagnosed me with scoliosis. She wanted me to have another x-ray to see if the curvature had progressed. If it had progressed the x-ray would show to what extent. Doctor Short referred me to a specialist in Charlottesville. He explained that scoliosis is more typical in girls than boys. I was fourteen when the doctor diagnosed me with scoliosis. The doctor made me feel distressed when he said that scoliosis can be hereditary. Which means people with scoliosis are more probable to have…
Commonly, scoliosis is known for either being a C or S shape. A C shape is when there is only one curvature of the spine, whereas S shape is two curvatures of the spine. In your case, you only have one curvature (C shape). We have diagnosed you with scoliosis because your degree is over 11. This is considered mild scoliosis because it is under 20 degrees. If you were to have moderate scoliosis your curve would have to be between 25 and 70 degrees. Anything over 70 degrees would be considered…
Questions: Answer all questions given What kind of relationship did you see in your D vs T graphs (both hand and computer)? Do these relationships make sense? Explain! In the distance versus time graph for the hand graph, there is an exponential increase the in the distance traveled; as time progresses, the distance the car travels increases a little more, as the slope is not a straight line, but instead slopes upwards, with slopes later in the line being steeper than the slopes before. What…
