“The Persistence of Memory” is a surrealist painting. It was painted by Salvador Dali in 1931. It is arguably one of his most popular works. I like this painting because of its’ merging of real and imaginary. Dali utilized actual locations as a reference for many of his paintings’ backgrounds.
