    In the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Reza Aslan captivates the audience using humor, sarcasm, and current events, while touching on topics that are not only relevant but also important to today's society. He began with a masturbation joke that was not only well received within the audience, but also an amazing segue to attain and keep the audience’s attention. Aslan used consistent evidence and commentary to tell of not just God, but religion and the science behind it. He spoke in a way that didn't prefer one religion over another, that addressed the audience in a relatable way, and was able to connect with all ages. His speech was important and powerful, with a message that ultimately refuted the idea that religion tears us apart. He was able to show how religions are all fundamentally the same, whether it's a rock of a naked pregnant woman or Jesus Christ dying for our sins.…
