There have always been fears of the unknown and things we cannot control, with the ever expanding technology we have in the world today it is no wonder that movies and television with humans being destroyed by technology is a common theme. As it is this idea in essence is the view that, ‘Technology - with all its promise and potential - has gotten so far beyond human control that it is threatening the future of humankind.’ Personally I view technology as a danger to people as it; is changing the shape and size of our brains and causing various health problems, changes our perception of things values and ethics in real life, and changes our ideals and what we think of as natural. Technology on a whole has changed the nature of human beings and threatens our interactions with society and how we view life. Technology is a danger to us as people as it is actively changing the shape and size of our brains causing various health problems due to the increasing amount of screen time by people. Peter Wilson a reporter for the newspaper, The Australian wrote an article, Society hard-wired for a fall in which he states that the main problem we face with technology is that the, “…central concern is that changes in behaviour and environment lead to physical changes in the brain…”. In his article he interviewed a Professor Susan Greenfield a leading figure protesting technology because of its harmful effects who said, ““I think we are going to have the next generation with shorter…
