    Career Research Essay I have chosen to research the career of Academic Advising and Career Counseling for this essay. The reason I chose this particular career, is because I believe it would be a highly rewarding occupation, and it would give me a great amount of satisfaction to make a difference in people's lives by guiding them through the process of acquiring a higher education, while determining their aptitudes and personality traits in order to ascertain the career that is best suited for them. In the past I have also considered a career in Human Resources Management, I think it is very closely related to Academic Advising and Career Counseling in that it involves the discovery of human interests and aptitudes in order to find the best position for that person within a company or organization. I am extremely interested in human development, whether it is in the context of higher education or job placement and recruitment.
