My sports hero is LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ever since I grew up he has been my favorite player in any sports I just saw him playing the Nuggets one time and knew he was my favorite player. A lot of people think I like LeBron James just because he’s good its more than him being the best it’s his leadership and work ethic. He is always in the gym striving to be the best player that has ever played the game of basketball. His workouts are insane and he is still putting up above average numbers at the age of 32 which is insane. As a 32 year old man LeBron is averaging 25.9ppg, 8.0rpg, and 8.9apg those numbers are the reason why he is the talk for mvp this year. At this age his numbers are better than Michael Jordan’s which helps my argument that he is the best basketball player ever to play the game. The other thing I like about him is the fact that he is always trying to make the people around him better. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love both play really well because they feed off LeBron’s energy on the court and in the locker room. I read an article that said more player want to go play with LeBron because he wants to win championships he also works on making you better as a player and team mate. Just think of it like this Cavs have signed Derrick William’s, Deron Williams, and Andrew Bogut in the last month or two because they came to win a championship and to surround themselves with greatness. The Cavs as most people know won the Finals last year and barely…

there best interest to take on Joe Johnson's massive contract pairing him with Deron Williams, to hopefully form a formidable backcourt. With Johnson and Williams the Nets finished the season at 49-33, and ended up losing a first round series to the Chicago Bulls. This was not acceptable to Prokhorov as a first round series appearance was not good enough. This led to Prokhorov instructing King to improve the roster and try to win a championship now. King traded the Nets first round draft picks…

It was a blistering, cold evening as my dad and I neared the arena, and rows of cars blocked the streets as thousands of Rockets fans crowded into the parking garage. My first Rockets game was nearing tipp-off, and I was bursting with excitement as my dad and I piled out of his gold colored Nissan Titan. Wearing my white Tracy McGrady jersey that went down to my knees and blue jeans, and having my Rockets banner in hand, we walked down multiple flights of stairs to the bottom of the concrete…
