Three cardinal principals of Phi Delta Theta and how members should live them out

Friendship: As a member take time to examine the demands of friendship. Ask what can I give rather than ask what is in it for me. A man who is of strong character be just and generous in friendship, lyal and upright. Truthfullness, mutual correction, and fidelity.

Sound learning: Can known as intellectual curiosity and a search for truth. A scholarly man must be curios and desire to seek knowledge beyond the surface. Multiple programs are in place to uphold this standard of scholarship.

Rectitude: In the sense of our fraternity, it is having behaviors that rest upon that which is both true and good.
