Sudden and high vibration

Caused by power levers being rapidly reduced to flight idle at high speed. Refer to the OEB checklist in the case of any vibration.

Uncommanded auto feather during take off

Treat any loss of TQ or NP as an engine flameout. Take care to identify the correct engine as engine power will be restored when ATPCS is disarmed (climb power selected)

Engine fire warning during steep slope approach in landing configuration

Adjust power levers above 10% TQ. Warning should stop, maintain power levers above 10% TQ. If warning persists, treat as an actual fire.

Prolonged or erroneous distance in DME

Refer to OEB checklist

Reset of manual takeoff speeds

Caused by annunciator or icing test. Check speeds and re-enter if necessary

ENG 1(2) OIL LO PR

Ignore the ECL and apply the OEB procedure in every circumstance.

Spurious displays during TRU activation or deactivation

A single reset is permitted on the ground only. IF captain MCDU or ADC2 is lost, refer OEB for CB reset

No autofeather

PL- Not below 45 degrees power lever angle


CL- Feather then fuel shut-off

No uptrim

PM- Advance both power levers to the ramp

No bleed fault

PM- Select both bleeds off
