Why is low level flying conducted? |
To make full use of the cover provided by the terrain itself and to avoid detection by ground-based enemy radar |

Fill in MOD Form 953 Obtain name and telephone number in case the line becomes U/S Take as much detail as possible when filling in the form Dictate the call to ensure the complainer does not set the pace or tone of the conversation Must be polite and courteous at all times and do not accept responsibility or admit liability Once complete, hand the F953 to a supervising officer. It will then be handed to the low flying complaints and enquiries unit at RAF Wittering |
