What are prime numbers?

A whole number greater than 1 that has exactly two factors, itself and 1.

What are the three steps of the method for determining prime numbers?

1) Find its square root

The multiples of a number are its times table (e.g. the multiples of 13 are 13, 26, 39, 52, 65...)
