Rule 1

A ball carrier is considered stopped, when a defensive player removes one of the ball carrier's flags or two-hand touch.

Rule 2

The offensive team gets 4 downs to score a touchdown. If they fail to score on the 4th down, the opposing team receives the ball. The offensive team can also choose to punt the ball on the 4th down. If the offensive team elects to punt the ball on the 4th down, they must first inform the defensive team.

Rule 3

The defense must count to 5 Mississippi's before they can rush the QB. There is an automatic rush on handoffs and tosses.

Rule 4

The QB cannot run with the ball until after the defense has crossed the line of scrimmage.

Fumble

Once a ball carrier loses possession of the ball, it is a live and playable ball until it touches the ground. Upon contacting the ground, the ball is considered "dead" and the play stops. A.K.A, Loose ball!

The offense would lose a down and start where the ball was fumbled.

QB can receive a pass, after handing the ball to a teammate behind the line of scrimmage

2) All forward passes must be thrown from behind the line of scrimmage.

Play Stops When

2) A forward pass is incomplete if it hits the ground.

3) A fumbled ball hits the ground.

4) A player removes the ball carrier's flag.
