Problems with ECV VOTER TURNOUT |
Can reduce voter turnout as they may see point of voting in a state where a certain party dominates 2008 Obama spent nearly $40million in Pennsylvania compared to Illinois where he spent $25k Illi ppl may feel less valued, especially republicans and third party voters |
Problems with ECV Delegates |
Rogue delegates The elector doesn’t have to vote for whom they pledged 2000 DC elector Lett-Simmons abstained rather than vote for Al Gore as she pledged, silencing voices of thousands of DC residents |
