UNSATURATED
A chemical compound that contains carbon-carbon double bonds.
HYDROCARBON
A compound containing only Carbon and Hydrogen atoms.
GEOMETRIC ISOMERISM
A chemical compound having the same molecular formula as another, but a different geometric configuration - groups of atoms are attached in different arrangements on either side of a bond or ring.

An electron deficient atom, ion or molecule that takes part in an organic reaction, by attacking areas of high electron density in another reactant.

A reaction in which a carbon-carbon double bond is saturated and in which the initial reaction is an attack by an electrophile.
