Client centered therapy is that the view of the person is essentially good a person is capable of Living a meaningful life the individual integrates experiences into a consistent picture of them selves the south continuously changes through the interaction of the people with its environment

The person gets out of touch with them selves and has impaired relationships when they place unrealistic demands on themselves and deny feelings also each person has a neutral and natural healing ability so that it is a safe environment they can explore without criticism also they learn more about themselves then they will re-organize the picture of them selves into a healthier more for filling one

The goal of client centered therapy is self healing through self-discovery and self acceptance

For techniques of this treatment is genuineness the counselor is him or herself not playing the role of the therapist to empathy the ability to feel with a client in the sense of what his or her or her world is like three unconditional positive regard showing respect and acceptance of the client and for the therapist does not interrupt that reflects thoughts and feelings back to the client for further examination and clarification

And example of clients based therapy is “I don’t like people getting too close when they do I may really get burned up”
