Protista |
What eukaryotic organisms are autotrophic and have their own kingdom? |
Kingdom and Animlia |
What physical characteristics of cells separate plant and animal cells? |
The biggest difference between these is that unlike eukaryotic cells, prokaryotic cells do not have a cell nucleus or any membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondria. |
What is evolutionary systematics? |
Is a way to determine natural relationships of organisms by studying a group in detail and comparing degree of similarity. |
What does homology mean? |
The quality or condition of being homologous. |

What is a cladogram and what is it used for? |
Phylogenetic trees to illustrate relationships among organisms and evolutionary relationships for organisms with a shared common ancestor. |
Describe the two methods used to classify animals, physical characteristics/genetics. |
Kingdoms and Species |
