When does MI occur? |
After 20+ minutes of Ischemia to the heart and causes Irreversible damage to heart tissues |
How is the severity of Arrhythmia or Ectopic beats assessed? |
By CO, as ventricular arrhythmias will decrease CO and have more detrimental effects than do atrial arrhythmias |
What is Ectopic Beat? |
Heart beat that originates elsewhere than the Sinus Node |
Describe PVC? |
Premature Ventricular Contractions, won't affect CO if less than 7 minutes. If occurs during activity STOP and assess |
