What is your stance on the Don't Ask, Don't Tell?
I believe that the current policy for Don't Ask, Don't Tell should stay as is. I want to be sure that those who serve alongside myself and my fellow Airmen maintain their professionalism and keep their personal life just that, personal. If repealed, the amount of uproar it could cause could cause some negative effects. In situations such as basic training, tech school, or deployments where you are housed and required to spend countless hours alongside your fellow Airmen, the need for this policy is even more evident to maintain professionalism. The current Don't Ask Don't Tell policy is also in line with the UCMJ and has been successful for years, which to me is just another reason to keep it in place.

If you were the Command Chief Master Sergeant of Yokota AB for one day, what would you do for the day?
If I were the CCMSgt of Yokota AB for one day, I would incorporate a program for all of the Yokota Chief Master Sergeants called "Get to know your Chief" which would be aimed at the junior enlisted. The Chief would be able to give a summary of his/her career, including challenges, difficult decisions, and hurdles overcome to get to that esteemed position. Afterwards there would be an open forum for junior enlisted members to ask questions and to have them answered by their CMSgts to give the junior enlisted a new perspective on the position of Chief. This would allow the Airmen to feel a kinship with their Chief, mostly due to the title alone being a somewhat intimidating one and thus diminishing the idea that the Chief is "unapproachable."
If you could change one program on base, what would it be?
If I could change one program on base, it would be the sponsorship program. Although it performs its main mission, which is to inprocess the new member to the base and to give the newcomer someone to go to for help or if they have questions, it is slightly lacking in promoting socialization into the new shop. I believe the sponsorship program would be well served to have a welcoming committee work hand in hand with it, and the main goal would be to provide the new member a way to meet and socialize with other members of their respective shop and to incorporate them more thoroughly. I believe that would make an incoming Airman feel like he/she "belongs" and it gives them more than one person that they can feel comfortable going to when they have issues or questions.

My name is Armond Royce Philmon II. I hail from Copperas Cove, Texas and am 28 years old. I am married to Sue Ann Philmon, and we are expecting our first child this upcoming July. My father retired from the US Army, and so his service heavily influenced me into enlisting in June of 2000. Unfortunately I was medically separated due Subcutaneous Pneumomenistynum, which is basicaly a punctured lung originating from the interior. After returning home, I obtained gainful employment with the State of Texas and the US Army. Close proximity to active, prior, and retired service members only encouraged me to reenlist. Service to my country has always been dear to me and I knew it would give me a sense of fulfillment as well. I began the process of reenlisting in 2007, and was shipped off to basic training in October of 2008. I graduated as an honor grad and as the dorm chief of my flight in November of 2008. Afterwards, I was sent to Keesler AFB for Tech School, and successfully completed it in Apr of 2009

I am currently enrolled in the Community College of the Air Force and am 4 classes from my CCAF Degree, which I plan on obtaining before December of this year. I am 4 months ahead of schedule on my CDCs and plan on completing them before June. I have also obtained my Sec+ Certification a year ahead of the Air Force suspense date. I aspire to become an NCO and beyond that a First Sergeant so that I can better serve my fellow Airmen.
