Airspeed limitations, How fast can a jetranger go? |
It is a matter of pressure altitude, density altitude, gross weight, power setting and door configuration. Below 3000 feet pressure altitude, Below 3000 lb Vne is 130 knots. Below 3000 lb but above 3000 feet P.A., Airspeed decreases 3.5 Kias per 1000 ft altitude gain. With a ceiling of 20000 ft Weight above 3000 lbs Vne = 122 knots with a decrease of 7 KIAS per thousand feet altitude gain above 3000 feet density altitude. With a ceiling of 13500 D.A Aft door(s) off max airspeed 87 KIAS Power setting 85-100% takeoff range 80 KIAS Vne Weight on the hook and over 3000 78kias Front door(s) off Vne 69 |
|
What happens if you exceed airspeed limits doors off? |
Air speed in excess of are speed limits (doors off ) will cause cyclic fore and aft stick reversal and fuselage buffeting |
|
What is fuselage buffeting? |
