1.) 1. Why didn’t the leaders of the American Revolution extend their spirit of equality to the abolition of slavery and giving women the right to vote? (Thesis and paragraph)

The leaders of the American Revolution thought of the spirit of equality to the abolition of slavery and giving women the right to vote as productive in helping shape society because much of the society was kinda of open minded to women playing a role in society ,but society still pushed slaves aside.

Compare and contrast the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution, especially in regard to the specific powers granted by each to the national government.

With all this, it could be said that the Constitution had a greater role in shaping the government and people in the states while the Articles of Confederation were widely ignored and dismissed by the states.

Write your definition of democracy. Then use this definition to evaluate the Constitution as it was penned in 1787. In what ways was it a democratic document, and in what ways did it guard against democracy?

Democracy is when people can have their set of rules, when agreed upon by everyone, and rule themselves without any outside forces telling them what to do while still having a thriving structure built for the people.
