The Statue of Yuny and Renenutet is a male and female sculpture. It consist of 2 statue figures. Both figures facing frontwards. The couple Yuny and Renenutet are sitting down together on a bench with Renenutet right arm around Yuny shoulder. Yuny has a taller scale than Renenutet. Both statues have slit- like eyes in an almond shape figure. By both statues being seated their body curves are being accentuated. Renenutet has arched eyebrows, full lips, and a crack within her bridge, arm, and foot. But Yuny has prominence cheekbone, a smashed nose, and lips ingrained deeper into his skin. It’s a double portrait with a composite profile and frontal pose. It’s from the New Kingdom, Ramesside period. Its medium is limestone and painting. They are joined together to create one single unit to represent Yuny seated next to his wife Renenutet. Within that in mind, Yuny and Renenutet emphasizing their wealth with their flabby belly. Both figures similarly wore head gear to emphasizing their importance and power. They wore wigs and fashionable clothes that highlighted their wealth, elegantly, and position in their society. Yuny also has inscription that represents his responsibilities. He additionally represents uniqueness with his prominence cheekbone and almond shape eyes. However, Renenutet is adorned with a slim dress and a necklace called a broad collar. Consist of beads in the shape of nefer hieroglyphs. On the other hand, she is holding a necklace called the menat. The menat that has ritual implementation held to service goddess. It is preserved pretty well, but with a few broken corners and cracks within the sculpture. Grounded lines placed under their feet and the under the 2 registers. On the back of the statue, we have 2 registers with 2 different scenarios. Scenarios that represent Yuny and Renenutet family.
