Exercising is any activity requiring physical or mental exertion, when performed to develop or maintain fitness. A great way to exercise is to lift weight; those who enjoy weight lifting can also workout in the privacy of their home, in a community center , or even in a local gym. However at a gym, one can expect to meet a variety of people. Some of the people one may encounter will be kind and favorable yet some will be distracting and obnoxious. The three worst types of people one can meet at the gym are the show-off, the know-it-all, and the wanderer. The first type, the show-off, is known by his flashy appearance, his terrible social skills, and his egotistical attitude. The show-off is usually a fit male in his twenties; he always comes to the gym wearing a tank top to display his deep tan and a pair of unrealistically tight spandex shorts. He is heavily built and all of his muscles are well defined. However, he is a complete blockhead with poor social skills. He seldom talks to another soul and always works out by himself. He talks to anyone, the gym employees, the lady on the treadmill, and even the guy mid- squat because he can't live without hearing himself talk for more than a minute. One would imagine, the wanderer has no workout routine and is using any and every machine and weight. His attitude can best be described in two words free loading, because he constantly relies on the help of other people when he is working out. For example when the wanderer asks the guy mid workout to spot him on the bench press, he will put in little to no effort possible and make the spotter do most of the lifting. The wanderer is by far the most dangerous to one's routine because he constantly interrupts the workout by talking or by asking for
