This job will consist of overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for residential and commercial buildings. Supervisors are responsible for hiring and training all new employees. It is important that staff work is completed and in compliance with company purpose and goals. This position is responsible for creating employee schedules and processing payroll. This individual should be willing to apply knowledge of electrical codes and standards to best safety practices of both residential and commercial buildings. The skills that are needed is previous experience as a supervisor and knowledge of electric systems. The applicant should be skilled in installing and repairing various electric system. The applicant will need to have knowledge of time sheets and payroll expenses. This individual should have excellent trouble shooting capabilities. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are valuable assets as a leader in this role. The applicant should have at least a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Must have four years of experience to include at two years of supervisory experience. The difference is the work schedules and the job description. My current position I do not take call because I am in a clinic environment that only operate Mon- Friday during the hours of 7am-5pm. A job description is given to each employer of what is expected of them prior to being hired. There are great insurance benefits included. The salary is normally not discussed in my current employer unless the individual is actually being offered the job. Job responsibilities vary depending on the role each applicant is applying for. I feel my organization that I created has a better Employee management development program. Growth within the organization is available in my created company. In my current job advancement is only offered to certain individuals and friends of friends. This is not fair to others that actually qualify for the job from an education and experience standpoint.
