Each scene shows a variety of emotions which is conveyed through various color schemes. As the beginning of the trailer starts it shows happiness in Auggie's life and which is showed through smiles and bright background colors as well as bright colored clothing. But as the trailer continues sadness begins to appear. This sadness is seen through darker colors. As sad scenes start to approach a color difference is started to notice. Backgrounds begin to darken as well as clothing colors. By using different color schemes throughout the trailer it helps show the audience the real feelings of what is happening. Auggie becomes sad and happy many times throughout the trailer and without color distinction the trailer would not play the same effect on the audience.
The trailer did a very well job of giving enough information but not too much to give the movie away. Although it did a very well job the trailer could have not replayed some scenes twice throughout and made sure they were only played once. By playing them twice it was repetitive in something maybe that was not so important. The trailer emphasized the usage of color and camera angle to help show the emotions of Auggie and the way people view
