Why Would A Little Hobbit Want To Go An Adventure

When you first read it you may seem to think why would a little hobbit want to go an adventure?

In the first part of the book you see bilbo baggins. He is a race called the Hobbits. Now you may think what is a hobbit? A hobbit is a race of short plump little people. The are half the size of a human, they enjoy food and drink. At first you think why would a hobbit be a main character? Well you're about to find out. One afternoon and old wise wizard arrives at Bilbo’s house. The little hobbit greets him and welcomes in him for some food and drink. Now Gandalf the wizard is quite known in the village of Hobbiton. Later that night thirteen dwarves start to appear. They ask him if he would like to come on an adventure with them to reclaim their treasure from the evil dragon Smaug. …show more content…
The thirteen dwarves are unsure about Gandalf's choice at first. He convinces the dwarves and Bilbo that he can do it. A bit later they come upon three hungry troll they all get captured except Gandalf. Gandalf comes up with a plan to trick the trolls to stay out until sunrise. The sunlight turns the ugly trolls into stone. Shortly after Gandalf and the dwarf lord thorin come upon a secret stash of magic swords. They take the swords for themselves even little Bilbo gets a sword. The group later stays at the home of the elves and get advice from the king of the elves. The trudge onwards the go to the Misty Mountains and find shelter in a crevasse in the mountains. While there are sleeping the goblins who live under the mountain find them and take them prisoner. The dwarves and Gandalf manage to escape but forget Biblo! Poor bilbo starts to wander around the caves trying to find a way out. He finds a golden ring and puts it in his pocket.
