Some days I take back-to-back yoga classes. Being a part of two different classes provides me with the opportunity to observe – to compare and contrast the two classes from one another. The first class is an advanced vinyasa flow class, with seven students. In the smaller class, I am more self-conscious about holding a pose longer, or if I lose my balance. Due to the size of the class, it is easy for everyone to see my mistakes. However, I learn more in the advanced class seeing that the instructor has the time to assist each individual. In the yogalates class, I am less self-conscious about other people seeing me make a mistake as I know I will not stand out, since there are more people around me who are also making the same mistakes. Since there are a lot of people, it’s difficult to focus on one person. Both classes are relaxing and peaceful. They are quite the contrast from what Greek theatres in the 4th and 5th century were. The two yoga classes are also far from being violent just like the Roman theatres were throughout the 1st-3rd
