Why Is Tally So Important?

Tally was not icy anymore and her emotions were a detriment to her focus which helped cause a war to break out. Tally still had emotions for Zane even though she was a special. She also knew she had to stop Dr. Cable’s plans in order to save the world. Tally’s emotions always seemed to put her in dangerous situations.
Even though Dr. Cable turned Tally into a Special, she still felt her emotions guiding her through the events that occurred. Tally had her emotions because she still felt her hate for David and wanted revenge because David took Fausto and cured him. Another reason why Tally hated David was because she thought that he was the reason why her relationship with Shay was dysfunctional. Tally still felt strong feelings for her boyfriend, Zane. After he died she was in a state of depression for the loss her boyfriend. Furthermore, Tally felt guilty because she let Special Circumstances destroy the Old Smoke and capture all of the smokies. Cable’s plan in order to save the world after Dr. Cable bombed Diego. Additionally, Tally realized that if Dr. Cable went through with her plan to start a war and began her tyranny that she would have to return to her rusty lifestyle. When Tally was captured a second time, Dr. Cable saved her because she felt that Tally was her last creation and wanted Tally to work with her. While Tally and Dr. Cable were face to face, Tally despecialized the doctor by injecting her with the cure which made Doctor Cable no longer icy. Tally successfully stopped Dr. Cable and she escaped. Tally figured out that if she informed the council of the doctor’s plans, they would immediately stop her and dispose of her.
Tally’s emotional struggles helped her in stopping Dr. Cable and saving the world. After Tally stopped Dr. Cable, she and David became the new Special Circumstances. She said “We’ll be out here watching. Ready to remind you of the price the Rusties paid for going too
