Why Is Gmos Bad

GMOs GMOs as we know them today have only been around for a few decades. Today, GMOs can be found in everything from the cotton in our T-shirts to the soda we sip at the movies. A GMO is a Genetically Modified Organism it is a laboratory process of taking genes from one species or food and inserting them into another in an attempt to obtain a desired trait or characteristic. (Google) They are created by gene from another organism is inserted into the crop of interest. The ways how scientist use GMOs is by inserting one thing to another. Thing like growing crops and plants, resistance to herbicides and pest, increasing nutritional value, researching for human diseases, for pets, enhancing food quality, and improve animal health. Did you know the top ten GMO foods are corn, soy, cottonseed, papaya, rice, canola, potatoes, tomatoes, certain dairy products, and peas. GMOs were created in 1982. The FDA approved the first GMO. Why are GMOs so negative? I personally am against GMOs for many reasons they have lots of antibiotics although they are good to much of in your system can make you become immune to it. Therefore, when the time comes and you're sick you would need a super antibiotic because your system would be immune to regular antibiotics. Regular chicken would take 2 years to get to its full growth. But chicken that have been feed GMOs and steroids already reaches its full growth 6 months and is already 3x as much bigger than the regular chicken. Constantly eating foods with GMOs can lead you to have a superbug. GMO type shrimps are white while the regular natural shrimps are pink. It modified foods you are not eating the real thing.
