Why Is Baseball Important To Me

An accomplishment I had in my past was only have 5 loses on entire season of baseball last year. In years past we had been very bad. We worked our tails of every practice and during lifting we came back every year better than the last.
Last year was so special because it was our last year together, we had been together for 5 years through thick and thin and in the past year we really got it together. I wasn't easy but we did it. It really shows when we slaughter teams who used to cream us, that really will make you proud about where you had came from working together to get to a high point together. Seems to me that the past went by very well.
In the present I am involved in many things, sports family and many things that go on in the background many people don't know. Right now I am in my last month of basketball, Before this I had a solid 6 months of football from the start of summer to end of october. Baseball is also right around the corner. These sports mean alot to me they can cause large amounts and also relief so much. After a long day of school it feels good to just go out and play with no worries that why i stay in

These ones usually cause more stress, but can also be very nice. Not everything in the present is easy. Easy also doesn't mean good ethier. I like when in school when you finish an essay or something you feel good that you did something productive in your life. Also finishing school work gets rid of a large amount of stress in my life. So far so good here in the present. I haven't thought very far into the future to be honest, i have no idea what college i want to go to or what i want to study, Right now i feel that i am at a point where I am just taking one day at a time and focusing with the task at hand. But for the future do have some plans on what i want to do i feel that if i keep up what im doing and start doing even better i should be in a great spot in the

There is no question that in American society baseball is America’s pastime. Although, most American’s would argue that football has taken over as the most popular sport in America. But for those who truly admire the game, like me, would absolutely disagree. Watching two rival teams duel it out from the first pitch to the last, or a pitcher going for a no-hitter, nothing is more exciting. '' Whoever wants to know the heart and mind of America had better learn baseball,'' Jacques Barzun, the social commentator, wrote more than a quarter of a century ago.…

One accomplishment that sparked a period of growth and new understanding of myself was when I became a star scout in Boy Scouts. Before this time, I was not very motivated to becoming an Eagle Scout because only one percent of scouts become the pristijuce rank of Eagle Scout. Then one of my leaders came up to me and asked if I was planning on putting in the work it took to be an Eagle. I told him I did not know because I knew all the hard work and how I would have to persevere. In response, he told me I could do it if I tried.…

I am going to be taking about baseball. I will talk about why I like it better than any other sport. I think baseball requires more mental abilities than physical because you have to be able to read pitches and you have to be able to read the batter and you have to read the ball when it comes off the bat. Baseball does require physical health to because you have to be able to hit hard, throw accurate and fast, and you have to be able to run and catch a ball if it comes to you. I like baseball better than any other sport because I think it challenges you more.…

One of the hardest parts about trying to accomplish this goals is my peers. I get told almost everyday that “I will never be able to make it to professional baseball” or “You won’t ever be good enough”. For some people this would discourage them, however I like to use it as motivation. It fuels me to know that one day when I can finally say I’ve made it, that all those people who said I would never make it, were proven wrong.…

The future is never clear, and my own was no exception. Thoughts of what I wanted to do with my life were always followed by uncertainty. During the entirety of my adolescence I always felt overwhelmed by my inability to decide my future, leading to a metastasizing panic in my inabilities to achieve success in any discipline. My transition from childhood fantasies to adult goals was anything but seamless and I often found myself lost, especially in academics.…

Ultimately, playing baseball is what brought me to the small town of Barbourville, Kentucky to attend Union College. My first year of college I attended Broward College in South Florida. My sophomore year I went to Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland. What I was looking forward to doing my senior year, was leading my team as a senior to the best we could be. I was working harder than I ever had all winter long leading up to this. The team had to be good, they had to work hard every day, they had to win districts, they had to win regional’s, and the most importantly the team had to get along great they have to be a family.…
