Illegal Immigration is a very controversial subject and while some are truly against it, there are others who don't seem to mind. Even if the wall somehow decreased the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the border, what's to stop them from finding other ways of entering the country. This “Great Wall” only encompasses the country of Mexico; instead of illegal immigrants flowing from the south, will it come from Canada next? People from faraway continents have been illegally immigrating to the U.S. as early as the 1800's, possibly even earlier that.
America has always been a land of opportunities where people could get a fresh start . A mere wall would not stop the flow of "aliens" coming into the country. For those people who have nothing will always find a way to better their lives . Building a wall also intensifies the ever present tension between the two counties. A better alternative may be to add more border patrol to surveillance the border and also to find any alternative ways that these immigrants are entering the
