A statistical fact was proven the children of immigrants are more likely to go to college, most likely to be homeowners, and less likely to live in poverty. About thirty-six percent of the children are college graduates, eleven percent live in poverty, and sixty-four percent of them are homeowners(Balce Ceneta, 3). Based on data, a record seven-in-ten (69%) Hispanic high school graduates in the class of 2012 enrolled in college that fall, scoring two percent higher than any other race(Fry and Taylor, 1).
