1. What led Harris-Moore to embark on a crime spree? In the beginning Harris-Moore stole to survive, he was young and loving out on his own. Stealing was the only way he knew how to get by. He had gotten caught before and held brief stints of community service or stays in detention centers. However, that final crime spree was for the attention. There was a fan page and media attention. It would have been the most positive attention he had received in his life. The public was following his every move, and he was loving it. So it fueled him to keep going on his crime spree.
