The program is ran by six ex-military high officials, ranging from Drill Sergeants, to war veteran Generals. The instructors themselves are just the peak of the program, as they direct the drills and procedures that goes about within the program. All students are to report to the barracks section of the campus for prep. They are assigned colored teams, on days that are competitive. This comes often, as the main goal of the program is to be the best warrior, as you can only achieve such title by cooperation and commitment. Once separated into teams, and prepped about the drills, you are thrown into an environment like no other typical four walled gymnasium. I have a question. Are we here in modern time stuck in ways of how society used to be with the social classes and the diversities or have we progressed in the fact that things are getting better with the technology and the standards of living with school and work. Some may say, well yes we are stuck with the differences of social class and thing will not get better because that is just how society is; but then you may find some may say, well yes things are getting better with the fact that statistics show the levels of good or bad maybe going up or down. I am going to have to say that it goes both ways. But we also have to look at the progressing that it is in today and will have in the future.…

Introduction The book, Catching Up, or Leading the Way, American Education in the Age of Globalization, by Yong Zhao began as a book about China’s education, but turned into a book about American education being at a crossroad: one which could destroy America’s future in education, and one in which it could strengthen America’s future in education as well as globally. Zhao believes that the U. S. has been reforming education to look more like China’s, with more standardized testing and less individualism, while China has learned that their education system needs to be transformed to be able to compete in today’s innovative global society through more individualized teachings. I believe that America has been so busy trying to stay “on top”,…

Northwestern Elementary is a rural school district that educates the majority of children living in the North Hampton, Lawrenceville, and Tremont City area. According to Zillow the average house sells for around $135K, which shows a middle/upper class social economic status in the area, however there are houses as high as $370,000 and as low as $80,000, which shows a strong diversity in social economic status. This diversity is also present within the walls of the classroom and the way that students dress. Over half of the students I would consider to dress like middle class students. The other half is divided up between upper and lower classes.…

Public School Flaws “83% of Californians consider the quality of education to be at least somewhat of a problem for California schools” (Tatum).Education has always been an important aspect in society and is always trying to be improved, but in reality the quality of education in California is failing our students. Most of the problems are not based on the schools themselves, but on the amount of limited funding that schools are supplied. Trying to become an elementary teacher, I have realized that there are many problems within the school systems and in my opinion it should be changed. The question is how do we change the system to improve it instead of making it worst? Right now there is a huge focus on higher education, but the lack of quality in elementary schools is leading students to either drop out of high school, or just finish their education with a high school diploma.…

The extent of teacher training in the People 's Republic of China is wide-ranging. Numerically, instructors in China represent the biggest teaching system in the world. In 1998, there were 229 training organizations, at various levels, with 138,745 students doing majors in teaching.
