A byronic hero is an archetype who posses qualities of Intelligent, Arrogant Depressive, Self-aware, Emotionally and intellectually tortured, Traumatized, Highly emotional, and etc. For example in Age of Ultron Tony stark shows his byronic hero aspects by showing his charisma, intelligence, and his conceded persona. Tony shows his charisma by his purpose for creating ultron to have peace in the world. Tony went through all this trouble just to create peace. Also he shows intelligence by creating the ultron program with Bruce. Tony states “I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler.” That shows his conceded persona by saying he does all the work and does it the best. In Frankenstein, Victor shows his byronic hero characteristics through ,his obsession with creating and killing his monster, the abandonment ,and disgust for his monster Frankenstein's death. Frankenstein's complete obsession with creating his monster keeps him isolated from friends and family for years. This is the first evidence we see of a Byronic hero in Victor Frankenstein. This isolating obsession continues in Frankenstein's hunt to kill his monster. Frankenstein abandons his monster because it is hideous. For exam in Age of Ultron in the beginning, the avengers are enjoying their party having a good time and all that, that create the mood of joyness and comfort. Then all of a sudden ultron's minions come and crash the party and start attacking the avengers. That causes the mood to shift to joyous and comfort to seriousness and confusion. In frankenstein when victor had found out that William and Justine died he felt sense of guiltiness due to knowing what killed them which was his creation. He later takes a trip out into the valley to clear his mind. He states while passing through the valley that, ¨This valley is more wonderful and sublime, but not so beautiful and picturesque as that of Servox, through which I had just passed.¨ He uses words like ¨beautiful¨ and ¨sublime¨ to help create a calming mood. While in the valley and glaciers he is encountered by this strange image in the distance which to him looked like his creation. Victor states his encounter ¨I trembled with rage and horror, resolving to wait his approach and then close with him in mortal combat.¨ The mood suddenly shifts from a calm peaceful mood to terror and horror type of mood using connotation. The use of the mood by the creators in Age of Ultron and Frankenstein helps not only set the plot but show the theme of destruction and the consequences it
