On December, 7th 1941, Japan bombed the Hawaiian Islands and took out most of our naval units in the Pacific Ocean. The United States fought back against Japan before, during, and after Pearl Harbor. The American Armed Services entered into the war by force, strike back fiercely, and ultimately took out Japan after the bombing, of Pearl Harbor. Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor is why the U.S. became involved in World War II.
