British Massacre which started as a protest of the act and ended as a turning point for the American rebellion in 1776. In 1773 the Tea Act was passed by Lord North, which taxed imported tea to keep the
East India Company from going bankrupt. The Sons of Liberty and their fellow colonists attacked the
British ships in the Boston Harbor that carried tea and dumped all of it in the harbor, which would be later known as the Boston Tea Party. The colonist has called this “Taxation without Representation” and they have decided to no longer be oppressed by the British and together they marched in a single file line towards the year of 1776.

The colonists hated taxes, the military measures, and oppression by the British, so naturally they hated having their civil rights being oppressed even more. The restriction of civil liberties was the main and most important factor that lead to the rebellion considering the fact that all the acts enacted by the British that pushed the colonies to rebel, restricted the their civil liberties. The British has slowly dragged the colonies over the cliff and the colonies have finally reached the year of 1776.
It is the human nature to desire to control, oppress, and to be the at the top. The events that happened has not only happened once but many other times in history. How the French was pushed towards the the French Revolution was similar to how the Americans were pushed towarded the
American Revolution. The King has placed taxes, imposed views and military measures, and restricted some civil rights which enraged his people. The people rebelled and established a new monarchy.
Rebellion can happen anywhere and anytime. They can stem from the smallest of problems from which they can add up and become even bigger
