She remembers and loves the four seasons; Utah had cold winters, and the summers were warm, but it’s “a dry heat.” It’s very beautiful. There was a lot of gangs where she grew up, and she lived in a poor area. “I imagine that because of religious suppression,” she often says. In her home town, there was pretty big disparity between the rich and poor. I feel like there was a lot of rebellious youth. There was mostly white people with some hispanic, and a lack of ethnic diversity. I think because of this the people were close minded and naive to the world that was different to their norm. Not a lot of people seeing other people’s point of views. The way I grew up was black and white. I didn’t grew up religious, I grew up in an anti-religious household. This was uncommon in the area. Most people were either anti religious or very religious. All of my friends were mormons. I was baptized as a mormon at 16 because i wanted to testify that i belonged to
