Well Made School Essay

Improved Essays
There are many schools in the U.S. and they could be better. Many students think having no work to do is what makes a school better and sometimes I agree. But, there are also other details that contribute to a well made school. Many different people have different opionions on what the right school has or is. Mabey it is an honor code or well developed classrooms, here is my opinion. A well made school has athletics, a nice campus, and not a difficault workload. The first attribute that makes a school better is their athletics. Being exceptional at sports is one way to attract new people to a school and is also fun. It is not fun always loosing and many might move to a new school to get a better sports team. Some schools also recrute players …show more content…
Homework can be a tedious task and to fill a whole night with it can be overwhelming. With students that do extra carricular activities it can make it even harder. Some students and teachers believe that homework is not necessary that just the claswork is enough. Sometimes that can be the case but I belive that the perfectly balanced amount of homework and classwork is perfect. Considering this, classwork is just as important to have a managable amount. A students day does not need to be filled with 8 hours of classwork with an additional two or three at home, Students need free space. On that same idea, students need to have a normal life that does not include all of this work. It can feel like they have nothing but homework and classwork to do which can be dangerous if they are too stressed and do not know what to do or where to start working. A terrific school has awsome athletics, a beautiful campus, and not a hard workload. Having athletics can attract new people to a school and is just fun all around. A nice campus and make outside classes more enjoyable but can also make students more comfortable and can make visitors feel this is a perfect spot for them or for somebody they know. Having an easier workload is less stressful and still leaves a real life for students to play with their friends, exercise, or just take a break from school and learning. All in all, I think theses are the most important attributes a school

In freshman year I moved out of the school district with my mother, my brother, and my mother's boyfriend while my father moved into my old house. Many different factors go into the reasons students are accepted in different schools. Most of these factors have a lot to do with the student's GPA in high school, extracurricular activities such as honors societies and such, as well as what classes the student had been taking in high school.
