The plot of this book is after the cats in the story how far a big battle called the great battle the cats are still recovering but while they are recovering a huge storm comes and causes the lake to rise. The lake floods the cats' homes and they are forced to live somewhere else. During all of this smaller troubles occur between the clans. (The cats are separated into four groups called clans- ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan.) The main clan that is in this book is ThunderClan.
