“The essence of propaganda consists in winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never again escape from it.” (Joseph Goebbels). Propaganda were use in posters or sayings that were exaggerated that made people opinions change or made them believe in what they already did even more. This was the use of Propaganda which was used throughout World War II and was a big part of how World War II played out. Propaganda was used so that the people would be involved in the war. There was a lot of people involved in propaganda during World War II but two memorable people were Walt Disney and Adolf Hitler. Walt Disney used more positive propaganda by using his charaters to tell people …show more content…
Germany wanted to look perfect and powerful they did this by using propaganda. They had posters of Adolf Hitler holding up a flag and the sun shining on him making him look powerful. Japan used propaganda to show they were also powerful and honerable. Japan made posters that had big strong, looking guys holding a sword up in the air. America was more on the side of trying to make propaganda be more positive and they did this by making poster for people to join the army and help with the war. Propaganda is used for countless of things and those things can be used for good or bad. Propaganda during World War II is huge and it did numbers of things to help the war. Propaganda made it so that people would want to help in the war for example, a poster for women to join and help the army which isn’t usually done. They also had posters for men to join the army and without those poster people wouldn’t want to be more involved like they were because there wouldn’t be anything really pushing them to help the war. Propaganda made people look at things differently and made the message more
