Vikuruti is a psychiatric rehabilitation centre that belongs to the Psychiatric Unit of MNH which has been there for quite a long time. Adequate understanding of the environment in which psychiatric rehabilitation services are offered is important for creating a positive learning/working environment for acquisition of skills by psychiatric patients and hence attaining rehabilitation goals. Therefore, doing a situational/SWOC analysis and critically appraising this centre is critical. All staff in psychiatric unit (Vikuruti Rehabilitation Centre) believes that, every patient is unique and needs holistic approach in provision of care regardless of gender, religion, race and status.
All staff believes that, all clients who step in their village get the highest stand of care and satisfaction.
All staff has the obligation to give enough education to patients and relatives on attending clinics and during discharge on drug adherence, social support to their family and community and follow clinics in order to avoid relapse and
