Vikings, barbarians of the north, the kings of plundering and pillaging . These men who do not fear death, but welcome it. These men who would lay down their lives for their homeland and their fellow Vikings and for the glory of battle. These Vikings who would go to the extremes to ensure their complete and utter survival, because if you believe for one second you are able to fight these Norsemen, your chances of survival were slim and if you were lucky and survived a battle, then you would have to survive the horrors of slavery, and if you got passed enslavement you still wouldn’t be welcomed in the community. During the era of the Vikings the soldiers were feared throughout all of Europe, and the Middle East. The reason they were so feared from that far away distance was because they had one thing most civilization didn’t have, mobility. The reason they had such mobility was because of their determination and the Vikings body armor was a leather jacket with chain mail and another jacket to keep them warm, and they received a superb battle axe for decapitating heads and a shield for breaking noses. If the soldiers were in battle they fought until the last man. The Vikings rather be killed than held prisoner just like the Spartans. However most of them took drug called Amanita a plant to enhance their fighting abilities the ones who took the drugs were called “Berserkers”. These men who couldn't care less if they were missing an arm or leg they still would try to kill as many of the enemy as possible. Another reason they were so feared was because the smallest thing could evoke them. At the end of a battle Vikings would capture prisoners of war men, women and children and subject them to the horrors of slavery them into slavery. The reason outsiders weren’t welcomed was because they didn’t want to disturb the order of the gods. A normal Viking family lived in a longhouse made of wood, the slaves and livestock in the back and the family lived in the front of the longhouse. When the men weren’t at war they were farming and fishing or tending to the farm. If an outsider managed to come they were killed unless they had something to trade if they had something to trade they would trade and then kill the outsider. Everyone in the community worked as a team to ensure the survival of the community. No one would ever fathom that the vikings never wasted anything normally the Vikings would pass down everything from generation to generation and ensure that it stayed in the family. By everything that meant weapons, the longhouse , gold, and the land.
In conclusion the Viking life was one that you had to be born tough to survive. Also the power they had made sure the survival of their people was possible and manageable. Sadly it was no man who took this civilization down. It was a plague caused by european rats that started the dark ages the Vikings began to die off and decompose with the rest of the world and
